A dialogue between Deleuze’s thoughts on the logic of sensation (as equivalent to Emotion) in art, and thoughts on the interpretation of the nine primary sensations or the Navrasa in the Natyashastra, form its philosophical basis. Deleuze was a famous 20th century philosopher, widely studied today in the architectural fraternity as well and Natyashastra is an ancient Indian treatise on dramaturgy. Besides these, texts on architectural and aesthetic semiotics were important sources. The suggestions put forth are argued for in a way that combines textual, visual and physical means. Writing too becomes a dimension of research, as much as sketching, coding and modelling, which together informs the process in ways that an isolated approach does not. With the hope of achieving greater lucidity, the narration surrenders an intellectual highpoint in favour of exploring an emotionally indulgent manner. The text forms the theoretical basis for proposing India's Entry for the Venice Biennale.
