(mentor) Degree granting institution Delft University of Technology Programme Transport, Infrastructure and Logistics Date 2017-06-09 Abstract This research is conducted in order to create awareness in the agri-food sector about the effects of improving traceability with the contribution of innovative technologies. To create this awareness a serious game session is designed. At this moment the current Dutch agri-food sector lags behind if it is about innovating the logistic supply chain. The last decade technologies such as RFID, WSN and GPS became less expensive and therefore the adaption in the logistic supply chain gives opportunities for the agri-food sector to improve the traceability of products. When improving the traceability, processes can go faster, the chain could be shortened, quality of products will increase and information about products is easier to share and exchange.
