Water Rocket Competition in Eindhoven 1
AbstractThe Summer Introduction Programme 2015 welcomes about 1600 international students who follow an obligatory programme. Throughout a week of project work students design a water rocket and an academic poster, get familiarized with the Delft study method, and working in multicultural groups. In our project team, Eindhoven 1, we designed Rocket propelled by water and air pressure. Deploy a parachute at the highest point. Instead of using the conventional fin structure of cornered edges we used the aero foil structure for decreasing the drag on the Rocket. Use of secondary fins helps in better stabilization of the rocket. In order for the rocket to withstand the pressure the bottle is secured with duct tape at the joints. The fins are also secured using duct tape. |
