(mentor) Degree granting institution Delft University of Technology Programme Aerospace Engineering Date 2019-08-29 Abstract The project focuses on developing and implementing a 0D or 1D model for radial compressors and turbines, capable of both interpolating and extrapolating the performance maps. The proposed model will be calibrated using the data points available in the maps provided by the manufacturers to produce accurate mass flow for turbines and pressure ratio for compressors along with efficiency performance data, to be further used in system level simulation of Brayton cycle for power generation and IC engine turbocharger, to name a few. The developed model should be robust, easy to implement, less computationally expensive and at the same time valid for a wide variety of turbines and compressors Subject radial turbineradial compressorperformance mapextrapolationinterpolationmodelling To reference this document use: http://resolver.tudelft.nl/uuid:43929003-d4e2-4a8d-941e-9f9dd3ad7d50 Part of collection Student theses Document type master thesis Rights © 2019 Rajarshi Mandal Files PDF RMandal.pdf 10.27 MB Close viewer /islandora/object/uuid:43929003-d4e2-4a8d-941e-9f9dd3ad7d50/datastream/OBJ/view
