The building will represent the necessity for a sustainable environment. In this new environmental council, two formal languages meet each other. On the one hand there is a light transparent orthogonal construction grid and on the other there is the language of a triangular segmented solid element. These two formal languages elegantly contrast within the building, creating interesting spaces while remaining true to the Manhattan grid and the UN plot in particular.
