Faculty Civil Engineering and Geosciences Department Hydraulic Engineering Date 1992-11-01 Abstract This manual gives information about how to use the P.C.-model ODIFLOCS. The wave action on and in several types of coastal structures can be computed. The necessary input data and the output data have been described. Although many phenomena are implemented in the model, which resulted in rather accurate predictions of several properties, further verification and further research are required to improve the accuracy of the model. Comparison with several measurements showed that the model predicts run-up levels, velocities and surface elevations rather well. It must be verified whether such results will be obtained for other cases as well. See also the appendices of this manual. Further research will contain more verification with measurements, a verification whether forces on units of the structures can be predicted and the implementation of irregular waves.
