More people are ordering their goods online, these goods need to be delivered to home address in urban areas. Using the parcel lockers of PostNL this research looked into the question how to make last mile logistics more cost efficient and sustainable using parcel lockers. Having used CEA, MCA and simulation this research has proofed the possibility to deliver parcels more cost efficient in the last mile using parcel lockers, as well as the possibility to reduce delivery drivers due to the usage of a separate parcel locker route.
