This thesis describes the design process and end results of my graduation internship at Medicine Men, a startup which develops medical applications for wearable devices. My design goal was to design the ?mma watchapp interface in such a way that it improves the therapy adherence of chronic patients. This project will focus on the unintentional and internal reasons the patients have (e.g. difficulty in remembering and/or organizing their life). It will also discuss what the patients’ needs are during their medication use and what the benefits and limitations of the Pebble smartwatch are.
