The recently publication The Landscape of Contemporary Infrastructure will be presented with a lecture by Marcel Smets on infrastructure design in the contemporary landscape. The lecture will be followed by a roundtable discussion between the book's authors, Kelly Shannon and Marcel Smets, and Filip Geerts.

Around the globe the importance of infrastructure as the motor of economic development is rising owing to increasing mobility and the need to make urban territories accessible. As a result, infrastructure networks are among the most complex and significant design tasks today.
