The Model and its Architecture

This lecture conceptualizes the various theorectical models for architecture in the writings of Vitruvius, Renaissance theorists, and philosophers of premodern Islam.

Patrick Healy is an Irish philosopher and writer. He has published extensively in the area of aesthetics, art, and philosophy and has been a professor of the Free International University in Amsterdam since 1997. He also teaches within the architecture faculty at the Delft University of Technology. Healy lectures internationally and participates in exhibitions with paintings and performance works.
