By establishing a theoretical framework, the different simulation modelling options are analysed and based on practical requirements, a choice is made. Subsequently, a stakeholder analysis is performed and the building of the conceptual and mathematical model is discussed. Also, the verification and validation strategies are discussed and the results of experiments for a case-study are provided.
