In order to investigate the possibility of adopting an IFB configuration for DESHIMA (Delft SRON High-redshift Mapper), we study the basic properties of an IFB circuit using electromagnetic simulation. In an idealized situation, one could integrate onto a 4-inch wafer a 9 pixel × 920 color 3 dimensional imaging device, which instantaneously covers multiple submillimeter telluric windows with a resolving power of f/df = 1000. We also simulate a slightly more realistic situation, in which the dimensions of the filters differ from their designed values, to see how fabrication errors introduce scattering in the transmission of the channels Subject kinetic inductance detector · submillimeter wave · spectrometer To reference this document use: http://resolver.tudelft.nl/uuid:74c0b76e-781c-4f0c-ab42-f31c50d546e9 DOI https://doi.org/10.1007/s10909-012-0502-1 Publisher Springer ISSN 0022-2291 Source http://www.springerlink.com/content/567470l77675g6g1/ Source Journal of low temperature physics, 167(Apr)2012 Part of collection Institutional Repository Document type journal article Rights (c)2012 The Author(s).
