(mentor) Faculty Aerospace Engineering Department Space Engineering Programme Space Systems Engineering Date 2016-12-21 Abstract Deployable systems for small satellites appear as an innovative solution to enhance the performance capabilities and enlarge the mission range of this category of spacecraft. Embedded within the research line in Solar Thermal Propulsion and the new mission Delfi-PQ, this project tackles the design, analysis, production and testing of a solar concentrator for PocketQubes. The project includes the optical, thermal and structural design of the device and the proposal of a new receiver for a Solar Thermal Propulsion engine. The research done demonstrates the capabilities of the concept.
