This is not sufficient to make more accurate predictions. The proposed method benefits from state of the art Multibody Dynamics simulation tool Msc ADAMS and Finite Element software ANSYS to quantify the contribution of the dynamic load influence during operation on the structural fatigue damage. With a study case, the application of this method is proven feasible and reveals that the contribution of the dynamic effects are higher compared to the NEN2018/2019 crane standard used in this research.
